Classic buses return this summer to Lytham
Date: 26-06-2011
It seems that it’s not just punters and shoppers who can’t stay away from Lytham, but the heritage end of the automotive world too. From now until the end of September a series of buses will run between St. Anne’s Square and Lytham Square with one being an open top example in pristine condition, allowing you to experience the sights and sounds of Lytham without barrier! With the sun (hopefully!) on your face and the sea breeze drifting through your hair, there can be few better ways to take in the sights and sounds of our wonderful western coastline. And whilst you’re there, enjoying the view, why not take the perfect opportunity to stop by at Clifton Walk where the owners will be happy to meet and greet you. No doubt some will be along to check it out for themselves, but their stores will certainly still be around to help make your trip out complete.
Perhaps you could stock up on supplies for your excursion at The Chocolate House of Lytham or gather in a few snacks for a picnic on the way thanks to the Greenhalgh Craft Bakery? Clifton Walk has a wide variety of stores catering for your every need, whim and desire, so pop in and see if you can find something to make the day even better.
Whatever you choose, make sure you make the most of your local attractions and support your local retailers.
