Summer in Lytham
Date: 28-05-2013
With summer fast approaching, there can be no better place to spend a day or two over a weekend, bank holiday or trip away than by visiting the many delights of the fantastic seaside town of Lytham in all its seasonal glory. There is no better vantage point from which to enjoy the Fylde Coast, particularly as a stop off point on a tour of the area which can include Blackpool and the Lake District, and a vital part of any trip must be a trip to Clifton Walk to get a real taste of the local area. The area’s premier local shopping arena offers a great insight into what the local area’s specialities are and the shopkeepers are some of the friendliest and most welcoming you’ll have ever encountered. From The Chocolate House of Lytham and and Greenhalgh Craft Bakery with their tempting, sumptuous summer treats, to the The Fashion Shop and Kapra’s takes on modern fashion and trends, there’s something for everyone in our traditional shopping arcade which reminds you why you love going out to visit the shops rather than doing it from home.
Not only that, but there are many other events to draw visitors into Lytham and the surrounding area this summer. With events often occurring on the nearby beaches, there are also dog shows, the proms, outdoor theatre, music festivals, tea dances and many more throughout the summer, Lytham is the placed to be in the North West this summer, with events occurring weekly from late May until September.
So why not pay us a visit and call into Clifton Walk whilst you’re here – both you and we will be very glad you did.
